During the war the Valkyries had performed many reconnaissance missions. Mostly checking that the geochart data was still valid. This was no different. Sgt. Lovelace pored over all of the information, pre-war charts, more recent satcaps and flyover picts. There was an anomaly on the surface of Narkana VII and not a small one. A large tract of land that appeared to be wasteland on the older data looked like a large complex of some form. It was certainly worth redirecting Songbird to investigate. Lovelace took this information to the captain. Any new lead could mean something worth discovering… something worth selling to keep them flying a little longer.
Game 6: Quarantine 37 – Scenario 1: The Medical Lab
Ciarán and I have decided to embark on the Quarantine 37 zombie-based campaign. The original scenarios are set in an abandoned research facility. We’re doing the same, but with a more outdoor aspect. The idea is that glitching force and obscuring fields phase in and out to seal off or reveal different areas. Last night we played scenario one. The fear of potential zombies kept Ciarán’s crew back, but I risked it. My captain was hit by one, but thankfully captains and first mates are not susceptible to Hastian’s Plague. Ciarán shot my First Mate, taking her out. Thankfully I rolled a close call. She lost a D+1 pistol she was carrying, but otherwise was unharmed. I escaped with a couple of loots, one of which yielded a Holographic Projector, useful for my First Mate who has the Holographic Wall power.
