Okay – here’s another work-in-progress shot of my mercenaries. The Mariner has been on the painting table for about a week and a half at this stage, so you can see that progress is slow. It’s coming together nicely with only the grey areas and detailing to do. It shouldn’t take much to finish it.
I’ve nothing assembled, but I think I might tackle some more characters/solos next. I’m waiting for bases (Victorian Sewers!) from BattleCry Miniatures, a new Dublin-based company. They’re in production at the moment.

Amazing work as always sir.
Thanks Clay. I’ve been very slow painting this guy. I hope to have him finished by the weekend. I’d like to paint infantry again. Two ‘jacks back-to-back is too many!

I was sure you had this guy well finished already. I thought all the Pirates were done? Does that base come from Battlecry? The wood/forest bases I got were only okay. I think I have some more trench style bases Woody was kind enough to give me. I might paint them up for a second review soon.
I painted it 2 years ago. Not sure why the blog was reported. I installed a plugin to promote old posts, but removed it.
I don’t think it’s a Battlecry base. I got it from Ugo. I’ve found the Battlecry bases to be so-so. A good bit of bubbling in the casting.
